About the Conference

Hindu Cultural Center of North Alabama (HCCNA), and
Organizing Committee, NAVC 2025

Dear Sisters & Brothers,

We most cordially invite you, your family and friends to attend the North America Vedanta Conference in Huntsville, Alabama on September 12th through 14th, 2025. The purpose of this conference is to

  1. Highlight the timeless Vedantic wisdom from its four principal systems, namely, Advaita (Non-dualism), Vishishtadvaita (Qualified Non-dualism),  Dvaita (Dualism) & Samanvaya Vedanta (Synthesis of Knowledge)
  2. Emphasize on the existence of harmonious Divine Oneness of truth, and
  3. Render spiritual guidance for peace & happiness and thus join a journey towards Spiritual Unity and Blissful Divinity.

Vedanta affirms: Truth or God is one, which Sages call by many names; this oneness of existence and consciousness of the Truth is manifested by limitless diversities for its divine play; each individual soul (or self) being naturally divine, identifies with the Absolute Oneness (or Brahman) and that the truths underlying all religions are harmonious with one another.

Thakur Sri Ramakrishna Paramhamsa, after doing intense Spiritual practice not only in different paths of Sanatana Dharma but in other religions, realized the same God and gave his grand edict, “As many faiths, so many paths.” He asserted that the only goal of life is to realize God by any path one chooses. Swami Vivekananda, his foremost disciple, on instructions from his enlightened Guru to teach people, further expounded that this can be done either by knowledge or by loving devotion or by meditation or by selfless work or by any combination of the above. Through his extensive travels and lectures in India and abroad, he shared practical guidance on how to manifest one’s natural divinity within. Other notable thinkers and spiritual leaders from India have also contributed significantly to this mission of promoting spiritual growth and self-realization.

Sixteen revered Swamijis and Matajis from Vedanta Societies across North America of Ramakrishna order and Chinmayananda mission have graciously accepted our invitation to speak at this conference. These distinguished scholars will share their insights and realized wisdom to help achieve the noble goals of the conference.

There will be devotional stotra recitals and prayerful meditations throughout the conference.

The HCCNA, rooted in the principle of the oneness of Truth, which has been organizing spiritual discourses and retreats regularly since 2009, now has taken a vow to host a Vedanta Conference to appeal to a much greater audience in North America. A limited number  of rooms have been reserved in the adjacent Embassy Suites Hotel. Details for registration and hotel room bookings are available on our website at https://navc.info/registration/. Our dedicated team of volunteers has been working tirelessly to create a memorable and enriching experience for all attendees.

Please join us with your family and friends on September 12th, 13th and 14th, 2025 and help us fulfill this noble vision. If you would like to get involved with this work, please let us know.

We look forward to your gracious presence.

Most humbly and respectfully,

The Board of Trustees and Executive Committee,
Hindu Cultural Center of North Alabama, and
Organizing Committee, NAVC 2025
